A letter to all my students

My students,
There are times in life that you have to realise that the world is not about you all the time. The world doesn't always revolve around you. There are times that you have to understand that you should do your part in learning.

Some time, somehow, you will face the time when you have to learn something on your own. You will learn that life is a journey. You will face a lot of things; you'll laugh now and the next time, you'll also weep. You'll fall, and get up yourselves. You'll crawl and then run. You will just have to learn things step by step.

There is no shortcuts to victory. The road to success is long and tricky. You will meet up with strange things and figure things out. It's no surprise that you will have to climb the ladder one step after another before you reach the top.

You should know that, there are people who love you more than you ever know.
They have feelings too.
I have feelings too.
Sometimes, there are moments when I feel so worried of you. There are times when I feel so sad of the things you do. It's not easy to spot the exact time when I feel so down that I just want you to know that I need space to heal myself. It just happen without signs.

Do you know how much I care for you, that I really want you understand that your future is not up to me, but you yourselves?
Don't you understand that it is not me that will change your future?
If you don't fight for it, you might just not get it.
If you wait for long, you might just lose it.

Please let me know
What do you want from me?
Please let me see
That somehow you are able to stand without me.

I am just a normal human being
I have feelings too
There will be times when I cry too
There will be times when I need my space too
and there are times when all you need to do
is to work yourselves
and figure things out by yourselves too.

I am not your guardian angel
I am not your saviour
I am me,
the way I wanna be
someone who exist only now
who will be forgotten when you are high up there
But life, my love
is one thing you have to bear
and it is always unfair!
